"Acquire the Knowledge To Prevent or Minimize Chances of Pregnancy Complications"

Pregnancy is considered to be one of the most wonderful and powerful experiences in a woman's life. At the same time, it can be the most confusing and frightening experience if we are not prepared. Having a solid foundation to build upon is the key to minimizing the stress and fear that constantly overwhelm us as expectant mothers.

I personally have gone through the difficult experience of losing my little baby boy Deuce at 24 weeks. Are you aware that pregnant women are at risk for incompetent cervix? This is where the cervix thins out an dilates prematurely, well before the baby is due. The goal of this website is to give you choices... Choices to look into serious preparation for a positive, uneventful 9 months. Things can get difficult if you start experiencing symptoms of gestational diabetes and you did not know what to look for, and how to be involved, and with full knowledge, in your prenatal care.

Often, we immediately go through the motions of preparing for the arrival of our babies, but have put very little, or not enough emphasis on the path for a stress free pregnancy. Baby arrival preparation is definitely a wise move, as there is what seems to be a mile long list of necessary supplies that must be in place in order for your child to be well taken care of. Sometimes we skip over serious steps that should be taken, being that we are pregnant. A clear strategic plan can lessen the chance of feeling the frustrations of a negative experience. The many joys of expecting brings along the excitement of hearing the heartbeat on your first ultrasound visit, to having a wonderful baby shower to celebrate the anticipated arrival of your little one.

But what about YOU? We tend to forget how important it is to pay close attention to the care and well being of ourselves during the 9 months. The type of diet we eat should be well planned. All financial responsibilities and income sources should be secure so that it leaves plenty of room for focus on YOU. Are you going to work at home while pregnant? How about after your baby is born? Are you getting enough sleep at night? What type of pregnancy complications could you possibly be at risk for before or after your baby's birth? Will you need a specialist to treat you? These are just a few basic questions that should be addressed early on, to get overall stability during the upcoming months.

Acquire the knowledge to prevent or minimize chances of complications. This is the best advice I feel I can pass along to expectant mothers. We have so many different things that we swear we need to do. Some things, we wrongly prioritize as more important than others.

It's crucial that you pay close attention to your health, each stage that you are expecting, and learn to balance time for your family to prepare siblings for their new baby brother or sister. Realizing the importance of sharing concerns, as well as your needs, with your husband can truly make things easier. Learning and growing together. Organizing early, to find non stressful ways of keeping finances and your household in order.

Your experience should be a time where you can recognize and enjoy the kicks and movement of your new bundle of love entering you and your family's life. This site was created to help you organize; to assist you with laying down a strong foundation for your growing belly and family.
