The Ultimate Baby Shower Checklist:

A baby shower checklist is a necessity for successful planning. There's nothing like trying to plan, and in the end, you've forgotten some of the most important pieces.

Not a good idea to forget important guests that clearly should have been invited, or to be all set and ready to go to cook your party meals and you forgot ingredients for your dishes! (I don't think you will appreciate having to go out at the last minute to shop when the party is about to happen!)

Having the ability to easily grab an smart and useful planning tool, and work your way-- step by step, WILL lessen the stress that comes along with planning. It organizes all the great ideas you have as well as solidify all your baby shower cake ideas and details, baby shower games, gifts, etc. When I plan a baby shower, I like to have everything right in front of me- This way, I can pretty much spend most of my time brainstorming my ideas, and then just plug them straight in. Definitely use a really good shower checklist or planner to get the job done. Your nerves will thank you, your Mommy-To-Be will thank you. (And so will the other people on the team that are assisting you in planning!) In the end, the baby shower will be beautiful.

"When I plan a baby shower I want it to be the most beautiful day for the Mother-To-Be. I want it to be perfect and so I make it a point to enter into planning, prepared and well organized! They turn out more beautiful each time..."

- Lisa McLaughlin, Wellesley, MA

There are some important steps that you will find, that need to be addressed with your planning that occur at particular times before the party. Some tasks need to be addressed as early as two months before the shower. A shower planner is a surefire way to keep you worry free, and will effectively help you stay on track.
